Trigger Warnings and Privacy Policy

My books are gory.

My books contain mature language (read: swearing–LOTS of swearing).

I do not write nice characters and I do not write happy endings. If that is what you are looking for, you are in the wrong place.

Below is a list of all the disclaimers and trigger warnings that I can think of that you, as readers, might find useful. If you do not want to expose yourself to any of the items on these lists, please do not read my books.

I do not support or condone violence or child abuse of any kind. I do not support or condone the sexual abuse of persons of any age, gender, or sexual orientation.

I do not support the cultural or religious appropriation of any kind. The fictional, supernatural characters of The Slaughter Chronicles are inspired by mythology, folklore, and ancient religions from all over the world. They are intended to create an entertaining fictional world, and they are not intended to be an accurate representation of their country or culture. The author respects all cultures and religions.

I do not support animal cruelty. Even if the animal is not “real.”

On to the disclaimers!

At least one of the short fiction and novels in The Slaughter Chronicles contains:

Detailed descriptions of violence and gore.

Mature language.

Physical abuse/trauma.

Abusive examples of administrative punishment/torture.

Disregard for personal autonomy.

Rude humor.

Varying degrees of sexual content.

Child endangerment.

Child abuse.

Dysfunctional families.

Alcohol and other substance abuse.

In particular, Dead Girl Moon (from Pulling Teeth and Other Stories) contains a reference to child abuse, pedophilia, and children/minors dying under violent circumstances.
